HISTORY OF THE ORGANIZATION

The organization was established with the best of some young persons of rural area. The people of the locality were simple, unaware and deprived of their basic needs and amenities inspite of their hard working in the capacity of peasants. They were needy and the major portion of their productions were being snatched by their landlords. The families of these peasant were tied up and encircled around the houses these landlords their women were eating food below the standard and living in a very depressive and miserable condition. The children of the farmers instead of going to school were working hard day and night in their fields. Instead of Books in their little hands they were holding sticks for leading their animals.
There health and sanitation condition was also deplorable. They were wearing clothes and were drinking the dirty water from the water courses. Which is in-hygienic for the health. They used to sleep under the shadow of the trees which were their real and natural shelter house. These depressed deprived and hard working people were living in the cruel society in a very pathetic condition and they had become habitual of hunger. Their women working in the homes rearing the cattles, toiling in the fields with the male member’s, they were being treated like a machine for the delivery of the children and there was no any to give them awareness regarding their rights.

Peasants were mute over their exploitation. These people were busy all day in their fields and they were deprived of their human rights. They were unaware about their legal and civil rights. The worries about their livelihood, had pushed them and made them disabled to think over their rights and their future.

The young generation of this class, who had managed to acquire some basic education and awareness, determined to change all this course of life. Although it was a Herculean task but the youth who had a clear vision and commitment gathered their force to bring some visible changes in the life pattern of the rural folk, after lengthy discussions and deliberations they gave birth to an NGO’s called “SHAH SACHAL SAMI WELFARE ASSOCIATION” in the month of February 1989. Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Sachal Sarmast and Sami were the classical Poet of Sindh and occupy a special respected position in the hearts of the people of Sindh.
