HEALTH PROGRAM:
To cure the wounds of suffering humanity is the noblest cause of the universe. We need to adheres maximum interest to focus our health issues because they are causing the real hurdle in our development process. The SSSWA perceives health as wealth and one of the integral issues of our social status. It has therefore focused health as prioritized area in its organizational network.

Following are the salient features of the health policy of SSSWA.

1. To make health needs easy and accessible for all and make it reachable at every door step.
2. Concrete measures are taken to make heath needs reachable to the remote areas which are devoid of this facility.
3. Child and gynecological specialists be posted at BHU level to provide quality health facilities for women and children.
4. Health should be free of cost and even the service charges also be exempted.

Perusing the above policy the SSSWA is trying its level best to procure the necessary health facilities in its targeted areas. In this context the SSSWA under went in collaboration with trust for voluntarily organization (TVO) for providing health facilities to rural population.

The focus of the project was mother and child health. The SSSWA during the project strived for day and night to make the facility accessible to maximum number of the patients.

According to the project stastics approx 17000 individuals including 7000 females and 10000 children were provided with health facilities. The facilities include providing medication and Health consultancy, treating labor cases including C- section.

Health mobilization was another strong side of the project. The SSSWA went miles ahead from the TORS of the project to provide the health mobilization. Mobilization regarding female recurring health issues, Complications of the pregnancy, child health, immunization and vaccination were the well ignored issues and perceived to be unimportant issues in our rural areas.

The SSSWA is proud to declare that health mobilization has resulted in far better way than it was expected and penetrated the name and working of the SSWA deeply in gross root level in district Shaheed Benazir Abad.

Now in the next phase of health program the SSSWA is planning to open voluntarily health outlets in some of the remote areas of the district. The planning regarding the implementation on the cited program is underway.
